Text Box: Application Overview The INTERAC Client Accounting System is a flexible, multi-client package that provides processing for General Ledger and After-the-fact Payroll functions.  The package includes the following features: · Ability to use General Ledger, After-the-Fact (ATF) Payroll, or both on a client-by-client basis. · User-defined accounting periods, including 13-period accounting. · Up to an eleven-digit account number, including allowance for 1, 2, or 3-digit suffix. · Accounts can contain dollars or units. · Allows entry of recurring journal entries. · Detailed audit trail from other INTERAC applications. · Full on-screen history inquiry available. · Handles consolidations of companies. · Prints Current Ledger, YTD Ledger, Trial Balance, and Working Trial Balance. · Easily handles prior-period adjustments. · Financial reporting for comparative, budget, variances, or ratio information. · User-defined history files. · Flexible report design for virtually any report or financial statement. · Accesses all features through convenient menus. · Allows all reports to be displayed on screen for immediate inquiry or stored in a file for later use. · Flexible entry of regular disbursements, ATF Payroll checks, and journal entries. · Storage of data per employee for federal, state, and local requirements. · Complete multi-state capabilities for all 50 states, including state reciprocity. · Provides for 99 user-defined earning codes to handle items such as bonuses, benefits, etc. · Provides for 99 user-defined deduction codes to handle items such as 401K retirement plans, Section 125 Cafeteria plans, and garnishments. · Provides for laser reporting of forms W2, 1099, 940, 941, and 943. · Magnetic media reporting is available for W2 and 1099 forms. · Flexible state quarterly reporting, including magnetic media filing. · Interfaces with Cash Manager to provide up-to-date detail disbursement information for a complete analysis of cash. · Interfaces with Document Manager for easy storage, retrieval, and e-mailing of financial reports. · Interface with INTERAC Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Equipment Cost, Depreciation, Job Cost, Payroll, Inventory, Time & Billing, Service Billing, Order Processing, Job Billing, Document Management, and Cash Manager.
