The INTERAC General Ledger System (GL) is a flexible, multi-company package that provides for comprehensive,         specialized financial reporting including consolidated and comparative financial statements.  
Special features include:
· User-defined accounting periods, including 13-period accounting.
· Up to an eleven-digit account number, including allowance for 1, 2, or 3-digit suffix.
· Flexible report design for virtually any report or financial statement.
· Handles consolidations of companies.
· Accounts can contain dollars or units.
· Allows entry of recurring journal entries.
· Detailed audit trail from other INTERAC applications.
· Full on-screen history inquiry available.
· Prints Current Ledger, YTD Ledger, Trial Balance, and Working Trial Balance.
· Easily handles prior-period adjustments.
· Financial reporting for comparative, budget, variances, or ratio information.
· User-defined history files.
· Interfaces with the Document Management System for easy storage, retrieval, and e-mailing of financial reports.
· Accesses all features through convenient menus.
· All reports may be previewed on screen for immediate inquiry, printed,  or saved for later use.
· Interfaces with INTERAC Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Equipment Cost, Fixed Asset Management, 
     Job Cost, Payroll, Inventory, Time & Billing, Service Billing, Order Processing, Job Billing, Document Management 
     System, and Cash Manager.
