A brief history of Intersoft Systems, Inc.
Intersoft Systems, Inc. was launched in 1982 with the acquisition of a suite of accounting applications, and an established user base. With systems tailored for the construction industry, general business, and public accounting firms, Intersoft continues building on this solid base.
Intersoft's software is marketed under the INTERAC brand and is compatible with Microsoft Windows operating environments. Each of the core INTERAC accounting applications includes integrated report writing capabilities, making it easy to get critical business information out of the system. INTERAC utilizes an ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) database, making the data available through a variety of third party tools such as Microsoft SQL, Excel, Access, and other ODBC applications. Intersoft takes advantage of new technology as the INTERAC product line is being enhanced, making certain that all applications maintain compatibility with the latest Windows operating systems. Intersoft is also utilizing Microsoft’s .NET framework tools as new products are being developed, expediting the development cycle and enabling the use of web-based and wireless technologies. From the beginning, we have made it a practice to listen carefully to INTERAC users and prospects, enhancing current applications and developing new applications in support of their needs and requests. Many of the new applications and product enhancements come about as a direct result of user feedback.
